Our engineering teamdesign

completed field verification, design, and procurement of parts
needed to speed up an existing production asset in one of our customer’s facilities
in Europe.
Our field support team from Electrical, Process and Mechanical disciplines was
deployed to implement the upgrade, run the asset to the new target speed,
uninstall the asset and supervise the shipment to a new location in Africa.
Our team oversaw the shipment and customs clearance in new location.
We reinstalled and commissioned the asset in the new location using combined
remote / field support.

We reinvented remoteremote

With Covid-19 disruption we supported our customer in Cape Town - South Africa
to overcome travel restrictions keeping their project deployment on track by
adapting our field support to remote support. Our Engineers guided the customer
local engineers and technicians to safely commission and startup their new asset
recently installed with the leadership of our engineers.

Engineering Staffing and Productivity Improvement

Our customer was experiencing low performance and high waste in 3 assets at one of their sites in North America.

GPM deployed in a very short notice two engineers from Process and Electrical disciplines who led the effort if returning the machine performance back to target while covering process resource gaps within the customer’s engineering department.

Obsolete Equipment Overhaul and Relocation

Relocated and completely renovated four diaper machines from Turkey to Middle east, and from South Africa to Nigeria. These machines were old hybrids that had been locally manufactured.

Our project consisted of designing a complete new process with a safety system that met ISO13849-1 standards, developed completely new software package, and training and development of new operational team which led to a green-field site in Middle East locally supplying their own products.

Hygiene Machines Deployment

Deployment of many brand-new high speed diaper machines in four continents. Machines were designed by our customer and software developed by GPM with customer standards.

GPM oversaw installation supervision, full checkout and startup commissioning, integration of all machines with OPTIMA stacker packaging machines, deployed over 25 OEM diaper machines in Asia, Europe and North/South America.

Our team provided turn-key solution for the customers and took care of software development, machine installation, checkout, personnel training, commissioning, and post startup field support.
